Dodge Viper is Up For Sale - (Global)

Owners of Chrysler, Cerberus Captal Management are talking internally about selling off the Viper brand.

Since the take-over from Daimler Chrysler in 2007, Cerberus has been taking extreme measure grabbing the company by the horns by cost-cutting, announcing closing assembly plants, reducing model line-ups and overhauling the image of the company from the road up.

Next on the agenda is their hero sports car, the 4 second V10 2-seater Viper is for sale.

The following brands are unlikely to be on the buyer's list as their cars include:

• Aston Martin (Vantage)
• Audi (R8), BMW (M6)
• Chevrolet (Corvette)
• Ferrari (F430)
• Ford (GT)
• Lamborghini (Gallardo)
• Lexus (LF-A)
• Lotus (2011 Esprit)
• Mercedes-Benz (Gullwing)
• Nissan (GT-R)
• Porsche (911)
